The “Wider Mercy Doctrine ” In Universalism

Seems Rob Bells recent advocacy of the damnable doctrine of Universalism has created quite the buzz. For many of us, the guilty verdict concerning  Bell came in a long time ago.  Check out  Harper Collins promo of Bell’s new book .

…..in Love Wins: Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived, Bell addresses one of the most controversial issues of faith—the afterlife—arguing that a loving God would never sentence human souls to eternal suffering. With searing insight, Bell puts hell on trial, and his message is decidedly optimistic—eternal life doesn’t start when we die; it starts right now. And ultimately, Love Wins.

Many evangelicals are absolutely unaware that christian Universalism teaches that Christ death atoned for everyone so that  every person, every where will ultimately be saved. They need not hear the gospel. they  may even rebelliously reject  the the Christ of the Gospel and do so without fear  of punishment since the Christ event once and for all reconciled them to God. Hell and the Lake of fire are simply  figaments of  biblical imagination.

The so called “wider mercy doctrine” is simply unprincipled mercy  carried to it’s “universalistic salvific” conclusion. Surely God wouldn’t literally keep his word of wrathful-eternal torment upon  unrepentant sinners. much less the  anti-christ cults or false religions such as Islam,Buddhism,Hinduism and Mormonism.

How could a merciful God do such a thing? Why that would be against his loving character. Doesn’t the bible teach  the humanistic ” fainess doctrine?”.

All this  is  the new mantra of “pseudo ministers” and their compromised compassionates who buy into their heresy. The great Billy Graham was advocating  the wider mercy doctrine of universalism many years ago. Listen for yourself. There is a brief intro before the interview and then hear the “good news that there is no bad news.”

When you read about Bell and finish watching the video, kindly whisper  Paul’s double anathema. Amen!
